Ecolabelling Sweden’s Sustainability Report
The world's countries have agreed on 17 global sustainability goals to achieve by 2030. According to the Swedish parliament's decision, it is Sweden's ambition that we should be the leader in this undertaking. And that the whole Swedish society should be involved: companies, organizations, authorities and individuals.
Using ecolabelling can then become an important tool, and the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and EU Ecolabel provide both simple and clear guidance for both producers, consumers and purchasers. Goal number 12 – Sustainable production and consumption – is, of course, the goal that ecolabelling has the obvious effect on. But, it is also clear that our product groups and their respective criteria can be linked to most of the global sustainability goals.
