Nordic Swan Ecolabelled e-commerce logistics from Bring
The range of Nordic Swan Ecolabelled deliveries will be broadened when Bring has met Nordic Ecolabelling's requirements for e-commerce logistics. Bring's Nordic Swan Ecolabelled services mean that you can choose Nordic Swan Ecolabelled delivery to an agent or parcel box.
"It is urgent if we are to achieve environmental and climate goals. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel's tough requirements, which are based on a holistic perspective and are gradually tightened, can contribute to a more sustainable transport industry. Therefore, we are pleased that such a well-known player as Bring can now offer Swedish consumers Nordic Swan Ecolabelled e-commerce transports. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is difficult to get, but easy to choose, and the Nordic Swan Ecolabel is recognized by 98% of Swedes," says Anna Linusson, CEO of Ecolabelling Sweden.
It is not easy to be a consumer and want to make sustainable transport choices when shopping online. Various brand-like symbols and unclear environmental claims such as "green" or "eco-friendly" can easily confuse consumers. Here, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel makes the choice easier. It is a label that Swedes recognize and trust. And now that Bring is broadening the range of Nordic Swan Ecolabelled deliveries, it will be a little easier to choose the right one.
"The Nordic Swan Ecolabel covers many of the issues that are important to us, and is also a well-known symbol among consumers. This label is a fine acknowledgement of the work we have been doing for a long time, and it is of course very gratifying," says Catherine Löfquist, Head of Sustainability at Bring.
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel's requirements for e-commerce transport have been in place since 2023 and entail requirements for climate, energy efficiency and working conditions.
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel's requirements:
- Reduces the climate impact of the transport network.
- Stimulates fossil-free deliveries.
- Increases energy efficiency.
- Establishes a good initial level of the vehicle fleet, which is gradually increased through investments in electric, hydrogen and biogas vehicles.
- Focuses on renewable and more sustainable fuels (no palm oil or PFAD), the proportion of which is gradually increasing.
- Promotes fair terms of employment in accordance with collective agreements or equivalent.
- Helps to reduce bulky packaging.
